The projects and programs incorporated within the map are organized within the following groups:

You might choose a number of groups to show on one map. To learn more about what's incorporated in every category, browse the full category explanations, below.

Getting began - useful tips:

  • To choose and unselect groups, look into the boxes within the Legend.
  • Each category has sub-groups that may be checked. To grow or minimize a category make use of the + and – boxes beside each category within the Legend.
  • To see a short description of the item into the spotlight, click the icon along with a text bubble can look.
  • To center the map to particular location or neighbourhood, enter a previous address within the search engine.
  • To zoom interior and exterior the map, make use of the + and – controls into the spotlight. Double clicking into the spotlight also zooms in.
  • If you want to volunteer, search for the language "Become Involved!Inch within the text bubble and phone the business directly.
  • Have some fun!

Food

Eco-friendly Structures

  • Awesome roof: Roofs which help keep structures awesome, reduce energy use, and lower urban warmth by reflecting the sun's sun rays some roofs were funded simply with the City's Eco-Roof Incentive Program.
  • EcoSchool: Toronto District School Board's EcoSchools make environment awareness and action part of daily existence. Find Platinum and Gold EcoSchools.

  • Photo voltaic: Projects which include solar systems, which convert sunlight into electricity, and photo voltaic radiation systems that warmth water for domestic use.

  • 3Rs ambassador volunteer program: Multi-family residential structures where the 3Rs Ambassador Volunteer Program (instruction and outreach program operated by the town of Toronto through resident volunteers) helps people reduce, reuse and recycle.
