Consideration for admittance to this program will be presented to candidates who've the next qualifications A and C or B and C:

A. Holders of the baccalaureate degree within the humanities or social sciences from the Canadian college (or equivalent), who've a minimum of (2) years gathered, compensated, full-time equivalent, relevant experience within the social services area.

OR

B. Holders of the Social Service Worker or Human Services Counselor Diploma from the public Canadian college (or equivalent), who've a cumulative gpa of three. ('B') or greater, plus a minimum of two (2) years gathered, compensated, full-time equivalent, relevant experience within the social services area.

AND

C. Completing a prerequisite course, CVSW15A/B Fundamentals of Social Work II with a minimum of a 'B' level grade.

Employment requirements should be completed just before taking CVSW15A/B. Admittance to CVSW15A/B is restricted by space availability. Candidates is going to be pre-selected to consider this program by Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment with the School of Social Work. Candidates is going to be selected according to publish-secondary academic performance and employment within the social services area.

  1. Effective college diploma candidates are needed to accomplish four (4) courses, additionally towards the third and 4th year curriculum, in their degree needs, the following: Three (3) liberal studies courses, one (1) lower level and 2 (2) 2nd floor, and SWP 331 Social Work Ideas of Practice.
  2. CVSW15A/B course is just offered once each year, running May - June.
