Additionally to the permanent employees, 375 volunteers donate time guiding tours for schools along with other groups, carrying out outreach presentations locally, and aiding with ongoing research by watching creatures.

Throughout the summer time several weeks, greater than 300 periodic staff are hired to help with Guest Services, Rides, Retail, Education, Custodial, Groundskeeping, Membership and Safety &lifier Security.
