MUMBAI: Students will be presented extra marks for involving yoga, stated condition school education minister Vinod Tawde.

After attending a yoga workshop by Baba Ramdev on Wednesday, Tawde tweeted: "Advised students to profit from Yoga, Students practicing Yoga everyday is going to be granted extra marks like of Sports." A circular seemed to be delivered to schools concerning the yoga camping. While it wasn't mandatory for college students or instructors to go to it, the circular recommended schools make best utilization of it.

But instructors aren't happy. "It's okay to inspire students to do yoga as it might have advantages but... once marks are affixed to a task, some might misuse it. That is what is going on to additional marks given for enjoying sports students are forging certificates, " stated an instructor from the south Mumbai Marathi medium school.
